Maire strengthens its presence in China with a new NextChem office in Beijing
NextChem, a Maire group company, has opened a new office in Beijing, further strengthening the group’s presence in China, which dates back to 1994 through Tecnimont (Integrated E&C Solutions division), and reaffirming its long-term commitment to the Chinese market and, more broadly, to Asia as a strategic industrial hub within global value chains. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Italian diplomatic representatives, Chinese institutional and industrial partners, as well as Maire and NextChem’s top management, including Fabrizio Di Amato, founder and Chairman of Maire. Among the guests was also Cristina Carenza, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Italy in China.
The opening of the Beijing office marks a significant milestone in Maire’s growth strategy and reflects NextChem’s ambition to position itself at the forefront of global industrial transformation, in a context shaped by rapidly evolving supply chains, while strengthening technological innovation in the energy and critical raw materials sectors. This new local hub will enable NextChem to work even more closely with Chinese customers and partners, leveraging its broad portfolio of sustainable technologies and solutions developed to meet the specific needs of the local market.
“The opening of our office in Beijing marks a strategic step in Maire’s international development. Looking at China today means looking at innovation, advanced technologies and new industrial models, which provide a strong impetus for the adoption of our increasingly sophisticated solutions in a market with tremendous potential. By strengthening our presence through NextChem, we aim to combine our global technological know-how with local partnerships, thereby contributing to sustainable industrial growth and to long-term cooperation with Chinese customers and partners, also building on Tecnimont’s longstanding presence in the country since 1994,” commented Fabrizio Di Amato.
