Industrie Rinaldi acquires Poliespanso: EPS construction hub is born
With the acquisition of 100% of Poliespanso, an Italian company active in the construction systems sector under the Plastbau brand, Industrie Rinaldi strengthens its position in ICF construction systems and, more generally, in the expanded polystyrene sector.
The Industrie Rinaldi holding company, led by the Rinaldi family, has been operating for over forty years in two strategic sectors – construction and packaging – and today counts 10 sites across the national territory, including 5 production plants and 3 facilities authorised for expanded polystyrene waste recovery and recognised as PEPS platforms through the agreement with Corepla. A commitment that reflects a sustainable development vision based on EPS, a material that is 100% infinitely recyclable, non-toxic, durable, easy to work with and offering high thermal and acoustic insulation performance. In addition to the companies in the packaging division, the group includes industrial entities in the construction sector amongst its ranks, such as Isolkappa, Bioisotherm and now Poliespanso.
"It's not just an industrial acquisition, but a strategic choice consistent with our long-term vision," declared Giuseppe Rinaldi, managing director of Industrie Rinaldi's construction division. "Poliespanso represents Italian excellence with strong technical specialisation and a solid entrepreneurial history, in continuity with our values: innovation, sustainability and attention to human capital."
With this operation, the group also strengthens itself commercially, counting on three distinct organisations, active throughout the national territory and capable of comprehensively covering their respective reference markets. Poliespanso, whilst continuing to operate with its own identity and organisation, will be able to count immediately on a larger, more solid and structured group, capable of supporting new investments and shared development projects.
"This operation enables us to strengthen the supply chain, expand technical know-how and bring an even more complete proposition to the market for the world of sustainable construction and industrialised construction systems," added Giuseppe Rinaldi.
The acquisition fits into Industrie Rinaldi's development plan, based on an integrated system and a complete offering of materials, technological solutions and advanced EPS systems. A proposition that also looks carefully at the design world, offering tools and solutions designed to respond concretely to the technical, performance and regulatory requirements of industry professionals.
