The seminar “In the fast lane of future mobility with fascinating surface decorations” kicks off the series on April 27, 2021. The focus is on the innovative and functional surface design for the electric car of the future. Sven Oberndörfer, Area Sales Manager Automotive Asia at Leonhard Kurz, will demonstrate pioneering decoration options, explain the integration of touch functions for interactive Shy Tech designs, and present concepts suitable for series production on the challenges of electromobility. Various options for impressive decoration of wall boxes, front panels or trims will be illustrated using clear case studies.

Fascinating design: new processes and technologies

Beyond electromobility, innovative solutions are also in demand in the automotive sector to ensure that both the interior of a vehicle and the exterior design are impressive. In the seminar “Inner values count - next level decoration for automotive interiors” on May 11, 2021, Dr. Markus Fischer, Key Account Manager Automotive Europe at Kurz, and Luitpold Haarlaender, Director Business Development at the subsidiary Burg Design, will present innovative and sustainable decoration solutions for plastic surfaces. The focus is on the technologies that enable a new surface feel, backlighting and the use of touch control. Participants will learn more about new metallizations, interactive Shy Tech designs and antibacterial surfaces with KURZ BIOFENSE.
