Sale of Netstal to Krones successfully completed

Following the signing of the purchase agreement on 6 February 2024, the sale of Netstal Maschinen from KraussMaffei Group to Krones was successfully completed on 28 March 2024. Krones has acquired Netstal Maschinen, based in Näfels, as well as Netstal Deutschland, a sales and service subsidiary based in Stuttgart, plus eleven other sales and service units in the US, South America, Europe and Asia. As part of the sale, over 500 Netstal employees transferred to Krones.

From an industrial point of view, Netstal will continue to operate independently and with complete autonomy in the management of its production and commercial activities. In this way, the Swiss company's skills and capabilities will be enhanced by the synergies resulting from its entry into the new group, while maintaining them in order to maintain its position in the reference sector and increase its market share.
