Davis-Standard consolidates its Canadian brands

Davis-Standard, a global leader in extrusion and converting technology, announced a significant strategic integration of its Canadian specialty brands. Effective January 1, 2026, Deacro Industries (slitting/rewinding), Brampton Engineering (blown film), and Gamma Machinery (bag machines/winders) have been amalgamated to operate as a single company: Davis-Standard Canada.

“The move consolidates the operational footprint and technical capabilities of these three distinct, market-leading specialty brands. This integration is designed to leverage combined resources to enhance customer support, drive innovation, and improve operational efficiencies,” said Michael Brown, Vice President of Operations, Davis-Standard.

Following the transaction, the core technologies, engineering expertise and product lines of the Deacro, Brampton Engineering and Gamma Machinery brands will remain central to the company’s offering. The dedicated engineering development, sales and service teams will remain unchanged, ensuring continuity in customer relationships and project delivery.
