A calendar celebrating the past and looking to the future

2021 was an important year for WM Thermoforming Machines as it saw the celebrations of the 40th anniversary of the company. To mark this milestone, the Swiss company organized several activities, such as Synergizing Technologies, a series of livestream events hosted at WM Thermoforming Machines, each taking about one hour and a half and featuring guests such as mold makers, extrusion lines makers, thermoformers and so on.

These events offered a chance to hear about future developments and market trends from plastics industry insiders, and to ask questions in particular to thermoforming experts specialized in food packaging applications. “Since we started with Synergizing Technologies, we saw a great increase of interest, due to the contributions from partner companies such as Bandera, KGL, Kiefer, Marbach and from customers, and to the numerous specific topics involving thermoforming machines, all prepared by WM specifically for the events. The attendees from all over the world took part actively in the events, which were completely live, and contributed with interesting questions or insights” sales area manager Jörg Huth said.

“Our 40th anniversary was also an opportunity to recognize the importance of the people who work at WM, who have been portrayed in 12 images with the shared theme of passion, and now collected in the WM 2022 Calendar. This is an opportunity to take a journey inside the company, and show the faces of our people, even the lesser known ones who work behind the scenes to always guarantee the highest quality. The calendar is available for download on our website, or through our Linkedin page. We hope you’ll enjoy it.”

For WM Thermoforming Machines, 2022 will start with two international events: Plastex, running from January 9 to 12 in Cairo, and Interplastica from January 25 to 28 in Moscow. These exhibitions are very important for the Middle East, North Africa and Russia. WM will attend both of them with its local agents, respectively Acis and Plastmash, and the area managers Ottavio Tonon and Joerg Huth.
