Foreign visitors in China

A comparison of origins of foreign visitors to the last two editions of Chinaplas shows that Shanghai (location of the 2010 edition) is more attractive, particularly to non-Asian visitors; however overseas attendance also appears good at Guangzhou (2009 venue).
In 2010, out of 14,701 foreign visitors (18.1% of the total), about 60% came from the Far East and 12% from the Middle East, while Europe and the Americas amount for 10% each.
In 2009, out of 11,340 foreign visitors (16.4% of the total), Asians accounted for some 70%, European 10%, the Middle East 9%, and the Americas 6%.
The next edition of Chinaplas will take place from May 17 to 20, 2011 in Guangzhou.
