Foamed sheets for Russia

Union Officine Meccaniche, based in San Vittore Olona (Milan), has signed an agreement with a Russian processor to supply an extrusion line for the production of composite sheets (XPE-HDPE, XPE-AL and other materials that can be laminated with foamed polyethylene) for packaging and thermal building insulation.
The line, which includes a 5-component gravimetric dosing unit, ZP 72X/32 corotating twin-screw extruder, automated laminating unit, and automatic dual winding station, can produce XPE sheets with thickness from 0.7 to 8 mm and width from 1,000 to 1,250 mm.
