Two other 7-meter supercalenders under construction

Two new 6800-mm supercalenders have recently been ordered from Comerio Ercole.

The first order came from the European converter who, at the beginning of 2017, had already ordered and started up one of these systems for calendering thermoplastic sheets. Based on the results obtained in terms of process accuracy, this converter has now ordered a second calender, identical to the one now in use at its production premises, which will be delivered within the first quarter of 2018.

The second calender has been ordered by an important Eastern group, which will use it for the production of thermoplastic thermal/acoustic insulation systems. The manufacturer based in Busto Arsizio (Varese), was selected after a careful analysis of several possible suppliers. The machine will be delivered within the first half of 2018.
