Negri Bossi at FIP with injection and blow moulding in a single press

A fully electric 180-ton Nova eT injection moulding machine will be on display at Negri Bossi stand at the FIP 2022 exhibition running in Lyon (France) from 5 to 8 April. During the event this machine - mainly suitable for medical, packaging and technical applications - will be producing moulded and blown bottles using a single cavity mould supplied by the Spanish mould maker, Molmasa. This mould makes it possible to carry out the "in blow"  process (patented) for blowing bottles and vials directly on the injection moulding machine. The press will be also equipped with an S7L robot from Sytrama - a company of the Negri Bossi group based in Vignate (Milan) - for the IML process with labels supplied by La Prensa Etichette Italia, based in San Giuliano Milanese (Milan).

The machine on display is part of a range of fully electric solutions by Negri Bossi and represents one of the flagship models of the manufacturer based in Cologno Monzese (Milan). These machines are available with clamping forces starting from 50 tons. Recently the tonnage has been expanded with the 450 ton model, so as to cover a wider field of applications and production needs. The press on display is also equipped with a Multitouch Tactum control system and with the Amico 4.0 remote assistance system (also patented), which guarantees after-sale support via WAN connection, allowing the user to improve production management and to interconnect the machine data to the various IT systems with a view to Industry 4.0.
