In Austria Engel closes until April 15

Another employee at Engel's large machine plant in St. Valentin, Austria, has been tested positive for Covid-19. Thus the company has six confirmed corona cases. Engel decided to close its production operations at its Austrian plants until April 15, 2020, due to the overall strong increase in the number of new infections especially in the regions close to the plants.

By closing the factory, Engel wants to actively contribute to slowing down the further spread of the virus. The health and safety of employees and their families is of highest priority. Sales, applications and service division including hotline and spare parts department will continue to be available to Engel customers worldwide without restrictions.
