Clariant Masterbatches relies on Mita

At the Clariant Masterbatches facility in Pogliano Milanese (Milan) Mita has installed a cooling plant for the extruders which includes exchangers coupled with evaporative towers, whilst a continuously regenerating sand filter keeps the cooling water clean. Operation of the extruders is controlled thanks to two dual-cell towers with axial fan that cool the process water. The electric absorption by each tower is half that of a centrifuge tower having the same power.
