Coim invests in Italy to produce more polyols
On March 11, Coim, the Italian polyurethane producer operating on the global market, announced it will break ground to expand its capacity of aliphatic and aromatic polyester polyols in Offanengo, near Cremona, Italy. The investment is expected to be completed by September 2015 and will increase the facility capacity by 35,000 metric tons.
"The growing demand of Coim's aliphatic and aromatic polyester polyols will soon saturate the actual polyester polyols capacity. This decision demonstrates Coim's commitment to the European market of polyurethane systems destined to several application fields", said Lucio Siano, CEO of Coim.
