An Amut-Comi machine for the Vietnamese thermoforming

A second generation AMP 630-GP model developed by Amut-Comi, a joint venture company established in October 2013 as part of the Amut group, was commissioned by a Vietnamese processor, becoming one of the first high-output in-line extrusion and thermoforming systems ever delivered in Vietnam.
Equipped with an EA100 extruder and an in-line automatic pick up stacker, the plant is able to produce disposable PP cups with a diameter of 95 mm, reaching hourly output rates of 33,000 and 35,000 pieces, with a capacity of 500 ml and 450 ml, respectively. A 3-station volumetric blender with capacity up to 600 kg/h, a static mixer and a grinding mill for thermoforming scrap, placed in line downstream the thermoforming machine, complete the configuration of the plant.
The EA100 extruder (100 mm in diameter) guarantees an output rate of 600 kg/h, using 38% of material recycled from thermoforming scrap. Similarly to all Amut-Comi thermoforming machines, the AMP 630-GP line also stands out for its sturdy and solid design and for its ability to cut hard materials such as PET and PP, also at high speed.
Using compressed air and/or vacuum, the system thermoforms and cuts parts simultaneously with a 80° tilting mobile table. The sheet conveyor has double toothed chains and wear-resistant slide plates; chains are adjusted on one point using an independent electric drive. The thermoforming also features: two-zone mould temperature control units, accurate electric cutting adjustment,  combined traversing/tilting mould handling system as well as a "no-cut" device with pneumatic drive.
Finally, it also includes: maximum mould size of 630 x 500 mm for moulds up to 20 cavities; cutting area of 610 x 430 mm; positive thermoforming depth of 15 mm and negative thermoforming depth of 150 mm; maximum sheet width of 685 mm.
