"UL recognised" polyurethane system

The independent organisation Underwriters Laboratories has recently confirmed that Sonderhoff's new Fermapor K31-A-45C4-2-UL-FR bi-component polyurethane system satisfies the Usa's UL 94 HF-1 fire protection standards and is therefore officially classified as "UL recognised". This flameproof system can now be used in the manufacture of seals for switch cabinets and other electronic housings in metal or plastic, in environments where these strict Us fire protection regulations are in force. With the UL HF-1 conformity class, Fermapor K31-A-45C4-2-UL-FR is now approved to the highest fire protection standards for polyurethane foams. Furthermore this material has also achieved the UL50E conformity class for switch cabinets and other electronic housings in non-Ex proof areas, as well as the UL508 conformity class for electronic equipment safety.
