Thirty years of partnership

On the basis of 30 years of cooperation, Softer, headquartered in Forlì (Italy), has purchased from Icma San Giorgio three new compounding lines for producing engineering polymers, which will add 30,000 tons to its annual capacity.
The new lines will be installed at the factories in Forlì and Ferrara (Italy) and Silao (Mexico), thus enabling Softer to strengthen its presence in strategic industries such as automotive and household appliance sectors.
The three lines are based on co-rotating twin-screw extruders exploiting a modular construction adopted by Icma San Giorgio to ensure, among other benefits, an optimization of maintenance costs.
