Modulated fumes
Caccia Engineering, headquartered in Samarate (Varese, Italy), has designed an innovative system for modulating exhaust fumes. Installed on the ovens of its rotational moulding machines, it further reduces operating costs and improves the efficiency of the moulding chamber.
The EMG (Exhaust Gas Modulating) system is activated by an extraction fan whose speed varies according to the percentage load of the digital burner, which is monitored through a software algorithm in the PLC. The result is the evacuation of unburnt fumes (CO and NOx) actually present at any time without extracting hot air.
