Versalis is still Platinum for corporate social responsibility

EcoVadis has confirmed the “Platinum” rating of Versalis - Eni’s chemicals company – for the second year in a row. As a result, Versalis is now ranked in the Top 1% for its industry, placing it in the highest segment for corporate social responsibility ratings.

“The confirmation of such an important milestone proves that our constant commitment to sustainability is recognized year after year by international platforms like EcoVadis. This makes the Versalis team ever more proud of the transformation process that the company is undergoing with the goal of creating new strategic levers for the sustainable development of manufacturing via complementarity of processes, technologies and solutions”, Adriano Alfani, CEO of Versalis, said.

EcoVadis is an independent agency specialising in sustainability performance in the categories of environment, human rights, ethics and procurement. The assessment uses a technology platform and criteria based on international standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the UN Global Compact and ISO 26000.
