As of 1 January 2024, Charlotte Röber has assumed the position of Managing Director for VinylPlus and the European Council of Vinyl Manufacturers (ECVM). In both positions, she succeeds Brigitte Dero.

Charlotte has spent the last ten years at the European PVC Window Profiles and related Building Products Association (EPPA), where she served as Regulatory Affairs Manager and then as Managing Director since 2019. She has been working for the PVC industry for a decade, previously representing the interest of the PVC window profile industry towards policy-makers, standardization bodies and other sectors. Her functional experience includes the sustainability assessment of construction products, standardization activities, chemical and waste legislation and corresponding advocacy actions. Charlotte Röber completed her Masters in European and International Law at the University of Maastricht. She also holds a Master of Business Administration from the Vlerick Business School in Ghent.

“Brigitte Dero has done an exceptional job for the European PVC industry during her time as Managing Director of ECVM and VinylPlus, representing and shaping our sustainability programme and navigating the industry through an extremely challenging regulatory environment. I would like to thank her most sincerely for this and wish her all the best for her future plans. We are delighted to have found a very promising successor in Charlotte Röber, who already knows the PVC industry very well from her successful work as Managing Director of EPPA, the European Trade Association, which represents the manufacturers of PVC window systems, and wish her every success in her new, broader role for the European PVC value chain”, the VinylPlus Chairman, Karl-Martin Schellerer, stated.
