The Chinese manufacturer of injection moulding machines Haitian has almost completed the construction of its new production site in Ruma, Serbia, which is expected to be finished by March 2025. Construction began with the laying of the foundation stone in 2023 and is currently on schedule, as planned from the outset. The new facility will cover an area of approximately 250,000 square metres.
At present, the final touches are being made to the facade, roof, and interiors. The administrative offices and service areas are also practically complete. The new plant will be dedicated to production in order to strengthen the company’s long-term international competitiveness by improving supplies and services to the European market, particularly Eastern Europe, and to the Middle East, while also increasing local supply.
