Innovations for production efficiency, Industry 4.0 and "smart factory"

At the Technology Days scheduled from March 15 to 18, 2017 in Lossburg (Germany), Arburg once again presents more than 50 exhibits that demonstrate unique technology, offering an extensive overview of production efficiency in plastics processing. The Arburg Technology Days 2017 offers the opportunity to see more than 50 "live" exhibits - including the latest machine technology and innovative processes, such as the powder injection moulding of thin-walled metal components and LSR/LSR processing on multi-component injection moulding machines. Moreover, in the “Efficiency Arena”, Arburg, together with its partners, presents a number of practical Industry 4.0 solutions. The example of a "smart luggage tag" is used to demonstrate the economically efficient production of individualized high-volume parts. The product itself steers a path through spatially distributed production in the "smart factory".
