Expansion in Brazilfor Amut

With growth and continuous development in mind, and also thanks to the addition of Fondo Italiano di Investimento to the company's capital, Amut has announced the launch of a joint venture with the Brazilian company Wortex, already active in the plastics sector.
The new company will be named Amut Wortex and Amut will be the majority shareholder with a 51% share. Located near the Brazilian city Campinas, in the state of São Paulo, it will start operation in December 2012.
The new joint venture will produce most of the Amut machinery range for the Brazilian market and will act as the commercial office for all the lines produced in Italy.

Amut and Wortex exhibited for the first time together under the new brand at the Interplast trade fair, held in Joinville (Brazil) from 20 to 24 August.
