Dow Polyurethanes shuts down MDI production

Dow Europe has announced on March 31 the decision to shut down its 235,000-ton/y capacity MDI (Methylene Di-para-phenylene Isocyanate) plant in Stade (Germany) for an expected period of two weeks. The plant will be shut down due to a planned turnaround in mid-April; however, the exact restart date of the plant in the coming weeks is still to be decided.
