Certified pressure transducer

Reliability and sturdiness are the characteristics which have allowed the KS industrial pressure transducer by Gefran to obtain the Sil2 certificate from TÜV Rheinland. Based on the technology of the thick film deposited on steel, it is a simple and compact device that withstands impact and vibration stress, and is therefore ideal for a number of hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
The Sil2 certificate has been handed in compliance with the IEC/EN 62061:2005 standards and allows this pressure transducer to be used in safety systems according to the Machinery Directive (2006/42/CE) which outlines the essential health and safety requisites of all machines. The KS probe does not incorporate filling oil or any O-ring and features a structure completely made of stainless steel. The last-generation electronics of the device has amplified output signals, both current (4-20 mA) and voltage, while the operating temperature range of the medium has been extended (-40 to +125°C), guaranteeing optimal stability also in the offset range. The pressure transducer is available in a wide selection of measuring ranges, from 0...1 to 0…1000 bar with accuracy error inferior to 0.5% FS (including non-linearity, hysteresis, repeatability, zero and full scale offset errors).
