BOPLA line started up in Italy
One month earlier than planned, Taghleef Industries has started the production of the new Nativia film in its plant in San Giorgio di Nogaro (Udine, Italy). The product is based on NatureWorks PLA biopolymers, marketed under the brand name Ingeo, 100% made from renewable resources.
The start-up of the new line took place on mid-August and the first shipments of Nativia film are scheduled in these days. The new BOPLA line has been supplied by the German manufacturer Brückner. Within the next weeks the first productions of 25 and 30-my-thicknesses metallized films will take place. The range of applications includes both food (fresh products, bakery, confectionery, snacks and dairy) and non-food (labelling and stationery) industries.
