Transversal hot blade guillotines
Clean, accurate cuts without dust and burrs; no material waste thanks to long-lasting thin blades; process reliability; energy efficiency; high productivity; low maintenance costs; optimisation of the cutting cycle in both directions thanks to double-edge blades; ease of use and quick blade change; versatility thanks to the availability of different sizes, for various profiles and for both straight and angled cuts. These are the key features of the transversal hot blade guillotine cutters patented by Baruffaldi Plastic Technology designed for preventing problems such as profile deformation and melting, without leaving any burnt residue on the blade.
These cutters have been conceived and optimised for precision transversal cutting, even multiple in both directions, to process plastic profiles such as cable ducts, window profiles and panels. Available in pneumatic or servo-assisted versions, these machines guarantee a cutting accuracy of approximately ±0.3 mm. Depending on the minimum cutting length, extrusion speed and cutting precision required by the processor, these guillotine cutters can incorporate three different carriage handling systems.
The TG. G-PP-HB and the TG. G-PD-HB are the pneumatic and servo-assisted units, respectively. Both are equipped with a newly designed linear brushless motor that guarantees high energy savings of over 3000 Euro every 8000 hours of production. The TG. G-DP-HB version, on the other hand, is available with a brushless motor for blade movements.
A special temperature controller heats the blade to the optimal level to ensure the same cutting quality with profiles of any thickness, including large ones. The blade movement, which can be automatically adjusted by a brushless motor according to the thickness and size of the profile and the units can be customised according to the profile geometry, which can reach 250 mm in height and 600 mm in width.
