Colines launched an innovative 8-micron 35% PCR stretch film

At the recent NPE show in Orlando, COLINES and ExxonMobil unveiled an innovative low-thickness High Tenacity Hand Wrap (HTHW) film. This new product boasts an ultra-thin thickness of 8 microns and contains 35% post-consumer recycled (PCR) material. Designed for both manual use and automatic machines (up 50-100% pre-stretch), the film showed exceptional quality and excellent retain force characteristics.

The film's formula was developed by ExxonMobil in collaboration with COLINES R&D department, using innovative raw materials such as Enable 1617, which ExxonMobil also launched at the NPE 2024. This collaboration highlighted the extreme versatility of COLINES' ALLrollEX lines for the extrusion of stretch film. The ALLrollEX lines also feature an in-line edge folding system, making them ideal for the production of high PCR content films for automatic machines use. Additionally, the lines are equipped with AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology through the Virtual Production Assistant MASTERMIND by COLINES, that helps you in the daily running of your extrusion line by automating the most time-consuming operations without the need for human intervention.

To further enhance continuous production, ALLrollEX lines can be equipped with continuous filter, allowing uninterrupted operation without the need to stop for filter replacement.
