Weidenhammer opens in Russia

The European supplier of composite and plastic containers Weidenhammer has launched a new composite can production operations in Vladimir (Russia). The production of composite cans in various sizes, initially on one line, will be directed towards international and local food companies. The new facility is part of a joint venture with Greiner Packaging Russia; as the order volume increases, a second line will be operating.
