Middle East alliance

Dow Formulated Systems, a global business unit of Dow Chemical Company, and E.A. Juffali & Brothers signed a business alliance in their polyurethane systems business. The alliance anticipates the construction of a polyol blends manufacturing plant, planned for 2010, in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia). The planned facility will produce Dow-formulated polyols, and the respective polyurethane systems will be marketed in the region. The Formulated Systems combines polyurethane and epoxy systems, technical service and tailored production, serving its customer base with a global network of 30 system houses.
