Further recovery

Also in February, the majority of Italian plastics and rubber machinery manufacturers, member of ASSOCOMAPLAST, improved its orders portfolio. This further sign of recovery emerged from the latest monthly survey with a hundred respondents.
After the positive remarks in the last months of 2009 and early February, only 15% of surveyed companies reported a shrinking logbook of orders, compared to the previous month. Positive signals, in particular, came from European Union markets, including Italy; less encouraging, however, the orders from South America and China.
