Three-way race

On Thursday, 13 October 2011, during the member Assembly of Euromap (European committee including 9 associations of plastics and rubber machinery builders, including Assocomaplast of Italy), international statistics were reported highlighting the Chinese victory in the race against its main competitors: Germany and Italy. Regarding the core machinery (injection presses, extruders and blow moulders), the data show the Chinese out ahead with 30% of world production, followed by Germany with 21%, and Italy in 3rd place at 10%.
