Integrated storage management

The Silcontrol system, developed by Moretto for the integrated management of storage rooms, is designed for synchronising the arrival and sorting of material into the silos, thus eliminating any possible human error. The input material is identified via a barcode reader which automatically assigns the silos.
The system manages the tanker's connection to the silos loading pipe, verifying its accuracy. In addition, a sensor controls the opening and closing motions of the valve connected to the loading pipe. In the rest position, the loading pipes remain closed so as to prevent contamination with the electrostatic dust present in the working environment.
The process is displayed on a control panel which indicates the filling level of silos, reports any malfunction and enables the personnel to perform the necessary operations on the individual devices applied to each silos. A signal light shows the status of the system both on the control panel and on the individual valves of the silos.
