Open house for an ALLrollEX energy-saving model
From 21 to 23 May, during an open house organised at its own facility in Azzate (near Varese, Italy), Colines unveils an ALLrollEX cast extrusion system for the production of 5-layer stretch films with a width of 1,500 mm at a net production capacity of 1,000 kg/hour.
In order to reduce energy consumption, several components of the ALLrollEX series have been implemented. For this purpose, the system is equipped with new Perform-EX extruders, which use infrared resistors (with savings up to 22% compared to the conventional ceramic ones), as well as insulation coatings on the melt-pipes (saving up to 31.5%). As an option, it is also possible to install torque motors (with savings up to 8.6% compared to traditional AC motors).
The BigMouth trimmings recovery system helps recover up to 50% of the instantaneous output rate of the main extruder which receives the trimmings. In fact, this recovery system is able to process them into fluff with a density very close to that of virgin pellets. Moreover, the high-performance 1,400 mm diameter chill-roll is also characterised by reduced energy consumption thanks to the use of torque motors for the production of Power and Super Power stretch films at high speed.
Finally, the ALLspeedy III winding unit represents the fourth generation of stretch film winders developed by the manufacturer headquartered in Novara. This system is designed to wind manual, automatic and jumbo reels.
