Two days devoted to handling in moulding
“Smart Plastic” is the title of a two-day open-house event being organised by Campetella at its headquarters in Montecassiano, in the province of Macerata (Italy). The purpose of the event, which is due to take place on September 19 and 20 and is being carried out in cooperation with the manufacturer of injection moulding machines Toyo, is to present the most advanced handling technologies available in the field of injection moulding of plastics. The recent developments implemented in relation to this processing technology will be illustrated, in the respective fields of expertise, by specialists in robotics, but also in injection moulding machines, labeling systems, vision control systems, peripherals and polymers.
On each of the two days, two workshops are scheduled, one in English and one in Italian. These will be held, respectively, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on September 19, and from 9.30 to 11.30 a.m. and 12.30 to 2 p.m. on September 20. They will cover the following topics: Value beyond the product (Renzo Matteucci - Campetella); The advent of the 6th generation (Giancarlo Serina - Toyo); Trends and innovations in IML (Peter Mertens - Verstraete); Vision and quality control systems (Simone Saraceni - Campetella/Egicon); Plastic materials of the future: advanced technology and green fashion (Eligio Martini - Maip).
