Into force the European standard CEN 289:2014

On February 13, 2015 the type C standard EN 289:2014 on the safety requirements of compression and transfer moulding machines was published on the European Official Journal n. C 54 and has come into force. Such standard was studied by CEN/TC 145, whose presidency and secretariat have been managed since 1995 by Assocomaplast on behalf of UNI.

In 2015 TC 145 - beside the ongoing revision of the standards on blade granulators and shredders, internal mixers and calenders - will start the revision of the standards EN 1612 part 1 and 2 (Reaction moulding machines) and EN 1114-3 (Haul-offs for pipes and profiles).
