Stacker of third generation

The third generation of the ER3X robot has been launched by Amut to handle and stack articles produced by FFG thermoforming machines with hollow punching system and destined for the food industry. The robot with 3 electric axes performs 40 cycles per minute handling the products by suction cups. It includes a device to alternatively take and stack the products obtained in different rows of cavities of the same mould.
The robot can be combined with the traditional stacker with bulkheads to configure a complete system usable with articles which are difficult to be handled and allow to exceed 40 cycles, using the only horizontal axis for extraction. Amongst the several thermoforming machines equipped with the new robot already in operation in Italy and abroad, the most recent installation have been delivered to some processors in Central and South Italy.
