Simona opens plant in China

The Simona's first production facility in Asia has been scheduled for 10 April 2010 in Jiangmen (China). The company has invested approx 10 million dollars in the new plant, that spans an area in excess of 40,000 sqm where several extrusion lines for the production of polyolefin sheets will be accommodated. Despite challenging conditions, this expansion is included in an incisive programme of internationalization and a long-term policy of growth, especially in the Asia-Pacific region, one of the fastest-growing markets for plastic products.
