Positive expectations for Taipei Plas 2010
The 12th edition of Taipei Plas, international plastics and rubber industry exhibition, began on Friday March 5 and will last until tomorrow at the Nangang Exhibition Hall in Taipei (Taiwan). The organizers Taitra (Taiwan External Trade Development Council) and Tami (Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry) announce the presence of 419 exhibitors from 13 countries (nearly unchanged compared with previous edition in 2008) on a net exhibition area of 22,500 sqm. Awaiting for the total visitors' outcome (until today 8.3.2010, the organizers state some 3,500 daily entries average) this is so far a positive achievement, considering that the economic crisis hit badly also the Taiwanese industry, as in some sectors mostly devoted to serial productions with low added value. Moreover, it is to underline that the last number of MACPLAS INTERNATIONAL is being handed out to the visitors. The previous edition was held from March 18 to 22, 2008 and was visited by 17,683 trade operators.
