OMV Machinery changes ownership

Change of ownership for OMV Machinery, which rose from the Italian company Isap Packaging to the Swiss company Wifag-Polytype. The acquisition includes intellectual properties, products, assets, brands and logos and employees.
With this operation Polytype adds thermoforming plants to its technological offer of printing and decorating machines, proposing itself as a single source supplier of technologies for producing all kinds of food and non-food containers. With its standard offset printing, the newly introduced Polyflex printing technology and the digital ink jet printing solution, Polytype is complementing the IML-T technology of OMV.
Founded in 1963, OMV operates worldwide in the manufacture of thermoforming plants for containers, lids, plates, glasses etc. By a headcount of approx 45 employees, it offers complete solutions, moulds and equipment included.
