New lab

Farrel Corporation has recently opened their new state-of-the-art Process Laboratory & Customer Demonstration Facility. The lab is in a new building located near the Farrel headquarters in Connecticut, USA. The Process Lab's primary processing machine for customer demonstration is a CP550 in both vented and non-vented configurations. The mixer has the flexibility to be configured with rotor geometries up to double the standard length, utilizing the LCM Rotor. The CP550 is a production sized machine from which scaling up is routinely done with confidence. In addition, there are other process line components on hand to address multiple feed streams and various means of pellet and strip formation. The laboratory provides customers with a venue to observe their formulations being processed through a full size production line under lifelike conditions.
