Micro-dosing unit for additives installed by WamGroup

At the polyolefin re-granulating plant of a French company a micro-dosing unit developed by WamGroup has been recently installed for dosing additives. Indeed, to obtain materials with different performances and characteristics, the polyolefin flakes are enriched with organic fillers such as talcum and calcium carbonated in different particle sizes and percentages. To maximize the operator flexibility, precision, and efficiency, the customer intended to move from a manual dosing to a continuous automatic process. This requirement has been satisfied fitting on the extruder the MDF micro-dosing unit, one of the component of the company range specifically designed for the plastics processing, to continuously feed powder additives.
