Itib sells... Itib
A well-known Italian manufacturer of corrugators and downstream equipment for plastic pipes based in Paderno Franciacorta (Brescia, Italy), Itib Machinery International has sold its stake in the controlled company Itib to Fortas, a German private equity company. The transaction, which took place at the end of April 2015, includes Itib’s 100% Polish subsidiary Itib Poland.
Itib is a leading manufacturer of thermoplastic corrugated flexible pipe and plastic blow moulded items especially for the automotive industry and white goods appliances, with production facilities in Italy and in Poland. The synergies with the other companies controlled by Fortas will allow Itib to implement an expansion strategy with the aim of repositioning its market operations.
