Investiments for Industria 4.0 and the possibility of an international award

The extension work on Comerio’s technical offices and new training centre, which will be devoted to the development of all its new Industry 4.0 products and services, is advancing at a rapid pace. This manufacturer has, for some time, been offering its customers innovative IoT (Internet of things) solutions, i.e. machines that are directly connected through the Internet and interface with other machines involved in the production cycle and/or with automated production process management systems.

“We ended 2016 with growth of more than 10%, a turnover that exceeded 70 million euros, and an export share accounting for 94% of our production. On this basis, as part of our Industry 4.0 development plan, we have recently taken on four new young specialist technicians/engineers and been able to press ahead with a training programme for our entire workforce. Through our Industry 4.0 portal, which will be put at the disposal of our customers at a special opening ceremony in late February or early March, our intention is to guarantee more and more in the way of integrated plant solutions”, explains CEO Riccardo Comerio.

Furthermore, Comerio Ercole is also taking part in the Tire Technology Expo 2017 exhibition and symposium, currently being held in Hannover (February 14 to 16), where it is showing various machines and innovative technological solutions including, in particular, a patented process system with hydraulic control and the use of AR (augmented reality) for engineering turnkey systems.

To be among the first three is already a great result for our entire team, as it bears witness to the level of excellence, in terms of innovation and quality, of our company’s products”, comments Guglielmo Comerio, who organised Comerio’s participation at the fair.
