EPCA appoint new President
The European Petrochemical Association (EPCA) announced Ketan Joshi, President of the Intermediates Division at Basf, as new President of the EPCA Board of Directors. Ketan Joshi takes over from Richard Roudeix, President of Ventures EMEAI at LyondellBasell, who has held the position since 2023. This leadership change highlights EPCA’s dedication to continued effective governance, collaboration, and forward-thinking leadership in an industry undergoing major transformation.

It holds significant potential to contribute to the sustainability transition towards net zero. By fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing, I am confident that, EPCA can contribute to build a better future for the petrochemical industry in Europe.”, Ketan Joshi said. He brings over two decades of experience across the global petrochemical value chain in senior management roles at Basf in multiple regions. He holds a PhD in Food Process Engineering from ETH Zurich and an MBA from Mannheim Business School.
As President, Ketan Joshi will chair the EPCA Board, set strategic priorities, and guide the association’s initiatives to support robust governance and collaboration across the petrochemical value chain. EPCA expresses its gratitude to Richard Roudeix for his leadership and dedication to the association and its members.
