After many years of dedicated service, Günther Pöll stepped down from the Supervisory Board of Erema Group at the end of April 2025 to begin his well-earned retirement. Effective 1 May 2025, Thomas Gangl was appointed as a new member of the Supervisory Board of Erema Group. The seasoned executive has previously served as a member of the Executive Board at OMV, as CEO of Borealis, and most recently was responsible for the European business of British steel group Liberty Steel. With his extensive management experience and his cross-industry perspective, he will provide valuable impetus and approaches for the Erema Group’s continued strategic development.

“I am delighted to support Erema Group on its future growth trajectory as a member of the Supervisory Board and to contribute to further strengthening its leading global position in plastic recycling,” said Thomas Gangl.

As of May 2025, the Supervisory Board of Erema Group consists of Ludwig Eckart (Chair), Claudia Beermann, Michael Schleiss, Simon Andreas Wendelin and Thomas Gangl.
