FIP 2014 in the nameof French shooting

According to official statistics from local sources, in the first nine months of 2013 the French foreign trade of plastics and rubber machinery showed a slight rise compared with the same period of 2012, consolidating the turnaround that occurred in the middle of the year, after a slowdown that was recorded in the first quarter of 2013. Regarding exports, balance of sales are always blow moulding machines, which represent a share of around 14% of the total. On this basis, from June 17 to 20 the fair FIP Solution Plastique will take place in Lyon.
Symacap, the association of French manufacturers of plastics and rubber machinery, informs that in January-September 2013, the production increased by 10.5% compared to the same period of 2012, mainly due to the good performance recorded by blow moulding machines, injection moulding machines and presses. Symacap leads this positive trend to its export turnover, which reaches 90% of production. For French manufacturers the local market is stagnant: local processors tend to import more than they purchase produced in France. A the end of 2013, the association expects to be touched a turnover of one billion euros.
The 600 exhibitors will be presenting a wide range of innovative technologies to give companies in the industry and contractors more competitive edge and productivity. Complementary and cross-cutting technologies will be also presented. Technologies are evolving and are combined to co-develop common or complementary solutions. The boundaries between plastics, composites, and elastomers have become increasingly intertwined and it now seems natural that the rubber and composites industries have joined the event.
FIP solution plastique provides a comprehensive offering of industrial technologies and processes. Sectors that take part at the trade show are: materials, machinery/equipment, moulds/tooling, design and engineering offices, processing, decoration/finishing services. The 2014 edition is 20% larger than its last edition in 2011. A number of communication and networking events will punctuate the 4 days of the fair.
Assocomaplast will attend the event with an informative booth, representing the Italian manufacturers of plastics and rubber processing machines.
