Automatic identification
The first system for automatic mould identification in rotational moulding machines has been developed by Polivinil Rotomachinery, headquartered in Cerano (Novara, Italy). The system is based on a special microchip installed on each mould that transmits information to the operating software. The software receives and processes the production recipe, compares it with those of the other moulds and verifies their compatibility in terms of duration of phases, temperature adjustment and other parameters. The advantages offered by the system include quick corrections, search for alternatives and certainty of data integrity.
