A new R&D centre for extrusion excellence

Bandera has announced, well in advance, the forthcoming opening of its new research and development centre at its headquarters in Busto Arsizio (Varese, Italy). The ceremony will take place on May 8, with Plast 2015 in full swing. Plast, the international event devoted to the plastics and rubber industries, being held at the Fiera Milano fairgrounds from 5 to 9 May and this year coinciding with Expo 2015, has been a fixed date on the Varese-based manufacturer’s calendar for many years now. The ribbon cutting promises to be an exclusive event celebrating the success of one of Italy’s most important names in the extrusion sector and marking the opening of a new centre of excellence at European level.

Bandera, which has always focused on the research and development of highly innovative ideas,  offers new applications that optimise technological advances in the processing of plastic materials. Its solutions, designed to allow dynamic production, environmental sustainability and energy savings (all key issues in the manufacturing sector), have shown that they are able to exploit the market trends in the food and industrial packaging sector.
