Technological innovation, productivity and sustainability are at the core of Negri Bossi’s participation, together with its parent company Nissei Plastic and the automation specialist Sytrama, at Plast 2026. The Group will showcase three next‑generation injection moulding machines, combined with robotic solutions and fully integrated applications, designed to meet the requirements of the smart factory, while reducing environmental impact and optimising moulding processes. Participation at the Milan exhibition will be the opportunity to present three live application demonstrations dedicated to high‑value, stable and strategic markets: food, cosmetics and medical.

For the foodsector, the fully electric Nova5e110t‑H1540 (1080 kN) injection moulding machine will be on display, equipped with a Sytrama S8 robot for liquid silicone rubber (LSR) moulding. In cooperation with the German manufacturer of hot runner and cold runner systems Ewikon, a 4‑cavity food‑grade muffin mould will be produced. The cell represents a turnkey solution, thanks to the integration of a silicone dosing unit from the German dosing specialist Binks Reinhardt‑Technik, and a Ravizza Packaging bagging system, which automatically packs the finished product.

For the cosmetics sector, the spotlight will be on the Nova Canbio110T‑H320 (1100 kN) servo‑hydraulic injection moulding machine, featuring N‑Sapli technology and the innovative Nissei X‑Pump hybrid system, which ensures high energy efficiency and process stability. During the exhibition, a thick‑wall transparent PETG component will be moulded using a mould manufactured by VIFRA, a Piedmont‑based plastic moulding company. The solution allows the production of bubble‑free, inclusion‑free parts, delivering perfect transparency and superior surface quality.

Dedicated to medical moulding, the fully electric Nova5e80t‑H170 (784 kN) injection moulding machine, equipped with a Petek laminar flow hood, completes Negri Bossi’s exhibit range. The machine will produce a 5 ml syringe barrel using a mould made by Ghilardi Stampi, featuring a new injection system specifically designed to optimise flow balance and uniform wall thickness. The application highlights cycle repeatability, reliability and cleanliness, key requirements for the medical sector.

At the company stand, a stand‑alone automation cell featuring the Sytrama S9‑2S robot will also be on display. Designed for stack mould applications, it is capable of handling complex mould configurations with different types of sectors, offering maximum operational flexibility, increased productivity and full integration with modern high‑efficiency moulding processes. Alongside its injection moulding machines, the company will also present MB Conveyors and Virginio Nastri conveyor belts, Piovan dehumidification and dosing solutions, and Innovo hardware and software for plastic moulding.
