Improving quality and productivity for rubber parts

At the K 2019 fair, the Italian engineering company Delia presents an innovative robotic cell designed to ensure high quality and productivity levels in the manufacturing of moulded rubber parts.

Thanks to the company’s work cells, which can be combined with anthropomorphic and Cartesian robots, several operations can be performed, such as: multiple extraction of rubber moulded parts with metal, plastic or rubber inserts and their deburring; quality controls; loading any metal, plastic or rubber inserts into the mould; orienting and stacking the rubber moulded parts inside specially constructed boxes ready for shipment.

Delia’s core business is focused on the design and manufacturing of pneumatic and hydraulic machines, as well as of manipulators, robots and related equipment. The company has been working for years together with manufacturers and users of machines for the production of plastic and rubber parts, implementing and updating their manufacturing cycles, automatic operations and performance levels.

Recently, the company has been aiming at improving its special equipment and manipulators to be installed on moulds and moulding machines for the production of all-rubber parts or rubber parts with inserts, destined to the manufacturing of vehicles, household appliances, footwear, sanitary items, zootechnical products, and sports equipment.
